Assembling a team of interdisciplinary experts, researchers, leaders and students, the Earth Commons is transforming the university into a living laboratory to develop scalable solutions for a greener, more sustainable world.

Job Overview

The Project Lead for Road to Recovery - a grant-funded position - provides leadership and project consultation services to the Georgetown PI for the Road to Recovery Project. Facilitation responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Provide monthly reporting on project progress for PI and consortia members, including current and scientifically sound list of “Birds on the Brink” that is coordinated with other similar lists, updates on strategy to deliver needed federal legislation and funding, and progress of Pilot Species projects
  • Facilitate virtual and informal “engagement” sessions to advance elements of Road to Recovery
  • Prep talking points for principles related to project fundraising ambitions
  • Weekly calls with the Georgetown PI for the Road to Recovery project
  • Facilitate bi-weekly consortia calls


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of experience in similar role developing and executing on collaborative research projects
  • Expertise in the field of migratory birds and species loss - research and policy
  • Project management expertise and coordination with high level government and regulatory bodies
