One Year Faculty in Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science at Eastern Connecticut State University is seeking two faculty members in the field of data science and cybersecurity for 2022-23 academic year for one-year full time (non-tenure track) appointments.  While applicants with expertise in data science or cybersecurity are preferred, applicants with expertise in any area of Computer Science will be considered. In addition, we anticipate tenure-track positions to begin Fall of 2023 and eligible candidates will be encouraged to apply. 

REQUIREMENTS:   

• Master’s degree at a minimum in Computer Science or a related field.  
• Must be capable of teaching undergraduate computer science courses either in data science, cyber security, or programming and algorithms with a high level of knowledge, ability, organization, and proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
