Reporting to the Director of the Pan-Asian American Community House (PAACH), the Administrative Coordinator will support the mission of PAACH to engage the community in celebration of South Asian, Southeast Asian, East Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander cultures. The Administrative Coordinator will play a key role in managing the daily operations of PAACH, assisting with organizing and evaluating programs, providing budget oversight, and handling departmental logistical needs.

Reporting to the Director of the Pan-Asian American Community House (PAACH), the Administrative Coordinator will support the mission of PAACH to engage the community in celebration of South Asian, Southeast Asian, East Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander cultures. The Administrative Coordinator will play a key role in managing the daily operations of PAACH, assisting with organizing and evaluating programs, providing budget oversight, and handling departmental logistical needs.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manage logistics for all programmatic activities including space reservations, catering, AV needs, and set-up;
  • Assist with program evaluation and data input;
  • Coordinate requests for presentations;
  • Support the staff with budget reports and fiscal tasks;
  • Oversee daily office operations and respond to facilities issues;
  • Help manage outreach materials, website, and social media presence;
  • Serve as first point of contact for callers and visitors;
  • Provide administrative support for PAACH staff including scheduling and special project as assigned.

    Requirements:

    BA/BS preferred and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with University financial systems as well as knowledge of relevant University policies and procedures a plus. Solid computer skills and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills required. Ability to work effectively with diverse constituents and to function productively as a team member within a busy setting required. Self-motivation and ability to prioritize required.

    This is a temporary position that will end until PAACH's vacant Associate Director Position(s) are filled (projection: by the February-June 2023 period or sooner).
