Director of Compliance

Organization
The Director of Compliance has oversight of financial aid (NCAA Bylaw 15) and is responsible for ensuring a wide-range of tasks are compliant with NCAA rules and regulations, including but not limited to, administering all financial aid and scholarship agreements for 600 + student-athletes, including renewals, non-renewals and cancellations and associated administration thereof, assisting with sport budgets, administering book lists and the Student-Athlete Assistance Fund, oversight of tax collection and submission for international student-athletes and acts as the liaison between main campus financial aid and athletics.



Job Location
Required Education: Master's degree, AND: 

    12 months in NCAA compliance or related experience
Skills:

  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.
  • Able to communicate well and build rapport quickly with students, faculty and staff.
  • Must be able to read and interpret policy.
  • Strong initiative to solve problems in a timely manner.
  • Highly organized and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Certifications:

  • None
Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Physical: Sit for prolonged periods. Communicate effectively. Ability to engage in repetitive motion.
  • Environmental: Standard office environment.
Departmental Preferences:

  • Juris Doctorate Degree;
  • Financial Aid experience.
