Job Details
This position supports student growth in the division of costume technology (design/construction/production) and supports faculty with their vision of attire for all productions. This is a full time (9.5 months; August 1-May 15), on-campus position. Generous benefits include health, retirement, and tuition assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Provides additional classroom instruction; advises and instructs students in costume construction (105y/106y), working across all degree tracks within SoTA, oversees instruction of THEA 112, THEA 211, THEA 317 when needed, attends planning and design meetings, advises student workers with regard to production.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in related field preferred; extensive professional theatrical design or costume shop supervision may substitute for some educational requirement
- Occasional evening and weekend hours for production purposes
