Data Specialist
LSU Health Sciences Center, New Orleans is seeking candidates for a data specialist position.  The incumbent will provide support to the School of Public Health with a focus on data management, analysis, and presentation of School related data.  Incumbent will be instrumental in management of academic data and data for accreditation and continuous quality improvement.
We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including those needed to create and maintain positive interactions. The successful candidate will also have the ability to manage multiple projects and meet both deadlines and quality standards.
Desired Knowledge Skills and Abilities for this position also include:
•    Experience using a learning management system, and/or experience with commonly used instructional technologies.
•    Knowledge of accessibility tools in software applications.
•    Working knowledge of video, interactive video, multimedia, and course authoring software, including Photoshop, Presenter, Articulate, Captivate, Audacity, Camtasia, Zoom, and MediaSite.
•    Demonstrated experience/skill working with using web conferencing, screen-casting, and/or other multimedia applications.
•    Skills with web technologies such as HTML, XHTML, Javascript, and CSS.
•    Quality Matters (QM) Certified Peer Reviewer/Master Reviewer.
•    Program Assessment, particularly academic data management.

Minimum qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree and two years of professional level or relevant work experience.  Master’s degree may substitute for the two years of professional level or relevant work experience.
