Duties:

Under direction, the Duplicating Services Lead Operator coordinates the accurate, efficient and timely flow of duplicating materials for employees requesting services of Duplicating Services. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Able to perform all duties of the Duplicating Services Operators.
  • Establishes work priorities for timely completion of requests; includes evenly disseminating work among the Duplicating Services Operators and themselves. Finalizes orders upon completion.
  • Answers telephone and email correspondence, and responds appropriately to requests for services related to the area in a prompt, efficient and friendly manner.
  • Operates all machinery and software in Duplicating Services efficiently.
  • Conducts routine inspection of office equipment and reports any operational difficulties to repair service. Works with internal and external representatives regarding problems, questions, training, and/or repairs to the equipment or technical software issues.
  • Prepares necessary reports, and maintains receipts for grant-funded duplicating orders, for submission to Accounting for the purpose of charging budgets for duplicating services.
  • Prepares timesheets of department employees for submission to Payroll.
  • Maintains confidentiality of certain printed materials or other information.
  • Trains new employees in the operation of all equipment, software and office processes.
  • Maintains inventory of supplies and submits reorders, processes purchase orders, and reviews and approves invoices.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
  • Coordinates activities of the Duplicating Services Operators to perform assigned tasks.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or minimum two years related experience in general office environment and /or training.

Qualifications:


· Ability to read and comprehend instructions.· Good oral communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.· Basic computational skills.· Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.· Ability to operate digital technologies and machines.· Good organizational skills.

Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
