Job Description:

The Office of the President is seeking a summer office assistant to work July 20 through the end of August. The Summer Office Assistant will handle the following tasks:

•Serve as the point-of-contact for the Office of the President, as needed.
•Answer phones and triage calls, as needed.
•Assist with scanning, mailing, and logging of presidential correspondence.
•Perform various computer tasks, primarily using Microsoft Office Suite.
•Run errands and make deliveries on campus.
•Assist with any other projects as needed for the president or Board of Trustees.

Work Schedule: Approximately 35 hours weekly. Monday – Friday 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m. (can be flexible in terms of start/end dates, time off during this period, and hours per week).

Minimum Pay: $12.50 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Professional demeanor

  • Ability to work independently and complete projects with little supervision

  • Commitment to confidentiality
