Stockton University seeks applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing with focus on Adult Nursing tenure track, beginning September 2022. Stockton's Nursing Program has traditional and accelerated BSN programs, MSN, Post Master's Nurse Practitioner Certificate and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs.

Responsibilities:

• Offer courses in Nursing and the General Studies curricula
• Serve as advisor/preceptor to students
• Participate in scholarship and other activities as appropriate to the discipline
• Provide service to the University, community, and profession
• Perform other duties as designated by the Dean and/or the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Earned clinical or research doctorate or evidence of a plan for completion of the degree within three years (ABD)
• Eligibility for a license as a registered nurse in the State of New Jersey
• A minimum of 5 years adult nursing clinical practice experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching Nursing at the undergraduate and graduate level
• National certification or eligible to certify in an adult nursing specialty
• Participation in scholarship as appropriate to the discipline
