Construction Management System Trainer
Position SummaryThis position will build strong relationships with users by providing ongoing training to increase awareness and support their system user needs. This position will familiarize new users with system processes such as (i.e. Unifier, FAMIS, Planon, PlanGrid, ProMapp). They will promptly respond and proactively provide one-on-one user support to resolve user issues which will prevent rework and reduce errors. They will collaborate with technical support teams to triage issues and escalate where appropriate and proactively monitor process performance to ensure user compliance using various reports. The position will monitor and contact users to resolve issues related to late Unifier tasks, initiate projects in PlanGrid, provide learning opportunities for training/support, assist in annual contract renewals, manage the PlanGrid Admin Console and provide administrative support as needed.
This position will develop, document and train on self-directed learning processes, interact with and present information to staff in various formats, organize and facilitate training sessions with users to focus on improved performance for construction driven processes, and creatively approach process and procedure improvements by listening to concerns and challenges. The position will be responsible for updating and maintaining vendor process documentation in ProMapp and observe and collect feedback from users to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
This position may be eligible for variable remote working.

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Education, Business, Communications, Construction Management, or a related field of the department, one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in the design, development and presentation of instructional programs using software or tools related to the educational programs being conducted; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired QualificationsExperience in adult education, developing and giving presentations, Microsoft Office 365, process mapping software (like ProMapp), project management software (like Unifier), facility asset management software (like FAMIS/Planon), and survey creation (like Qualtrics). Familiarity with construction terminology and process’s ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
A creative and innovative lifelong learner with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population; able to problem solve within a collaborative team environment; ability to understand different perspectives while utilizing expert knowledge of the technical operations of the job.
