Hofstra University sponsors 21 competitive sports and approximately 350 student-athletes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Prevention, recognition, evaluation, rehabilitation and recovery from injuries and illnesses to student-athletes.
•Maintains illness and treatment records, insurance correspondence and communication with team physicians and the University Wellness Center.
•Supervises athletic training students enrolled in the accredited athletic training education curriculum.

Candidates must be willing and able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Association, and the NCAA.Qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree required.
•NATABOC Certification, New York State License or eligible, CPR and AED Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
