Position Title:Global Programs Manager
Position Description:Rider University invites applications for a Global Programs Manager. Reporting to the Director of the Office of International Education, this individual will manage all faculty led programs and serve as the primary contact for international students on campus. Specifically, the individual will be responsible for:
- supporting faculty-led international study tours;
- working closely with the Admissions Office to facilitate the issuance of initial student visas and handling of related regulatory matters regarding international students applying to and seeking to attend Rider;
- assisting Rider’s active F-1 and J-1 students with their visa, travel, employment and related issues;
- helping maintain Rider’s SEVIS records and keeping Rider in compliance with all USCIS and USICE regulations and requirements; and
- ensuring that all activities supported by the Office of International Education are conducted in full compliance with the University’s guidelines and expectations for effective risk management.
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriately related field
- Previous experience working, living, or studying outside of the United States
- A demonstrated student-centered philosophy, demonstrable cross-cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work with a diverse student and faculty community
- Extensive experience with TerraDotta software
Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Hands-on knowledge of immigration and visa issues for international students and faculty is a plus
- Proficiency in a different language
