Job Description
  • Manage communications and student Satisfactory Academic Progress evaluation program in PeopleSoft.
  • Responsible for the extraction and compilation of data using programming techniques from multiple data sources for use as data sets in research, reporting, analytics, data integrity, department level planning, enrollment management, compliance, accreditation, operations and decision making
  • Program and use PeopleSoft Query Builder, SAS Base, SAS Enterprise Guide, Oracle SQL Developer and Microsoft Excel.
  • Maintain historical knowledge of the overall data structure and the use of the aforementioned tools to support enrollment services
  • Maintain expertise on current databases, business intelligence tools, and other software used within the department
  • Collaborate with functional area experts to automate current data gathering and reporting systems, develop and maintain standard operating guides for department data accuracy, and department report development
  • Validate department, federal and state reports, such as the FISAP , DHE 14-1, and Institutional Research surveys before they are published to maintain the required accuracy of the reports
  • Update and maintain financial aid website
  • Provide department leadership in identifying technical solutions to address current needs and to increase department efficiency and effectiveness
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external college stakeholders to analyze specifications and design reports
  • Create custom permission levels and groups for managing user access to Financial Aid SharePoint sites
  • Other tasks as assigned

8:00 AM – 6:00 PM availability

Salary

Pay commensurate with education and experience.

Range: Minimum starting range $21.50 hourly

Grade: 09

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
