Required Qualifications Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a terminal academic degree (PhD, EdD, DSc) in physical therapy or in a related field. Board certification is preferred. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of clinical/professional experience and must be eligible for physical therapy licensure in Georgia. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.Effective communication and interpersonal skills with diverse populations and ability to work in a collaborative, problem-solving manner are required.

We are seeking physical therapy educators with a terminal degree. Responsibilities will include teaching in the candidate’s area of expertise, maintaining a productive scholarly agenda, and providing service as required by the department, college, or university. Participation in a faculty practice environment is also available. Additionally, an opportunity exists to participate in our orthopedic residency program and PhD in Applied Health Sciences program. Candidates must be committed to student-centered education as well as working cooperatively with faculty and staff.
