Candidates should be board-certified in general surgery, with additional fellowship training in Surgical Oncology. We are particularly interested in candidates with either a special interest or training in “Breast, Soft Tissue and Melanoma” or “GI Oncology”. Candidate can expect the ability to participate in research studies and work with our general surgery residents. The Medical College of Georgia, founded in 1828, is the 13th-oldest medical school in the United States. MCG is the medical school of the state of Georgia with 200 volunteer surgeons serving as faculty throughout our regional campuses.
