Job Details
General Purpose
To assist the Facilities and Housekeeping staff in maintaining the buildings, Dome, and grounds at Presentation College.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
1) Cleaning glass windows, doors and walls 2) Vacuuming entrance rugs. 3) Picking up trash. 4) Dust and wet mopping Café floors. 5) And various duties assigned for maintaining campus property as needed.
Education and Training
Designated supervisor will train student worker to familiarize them in work areas/locations, duties of the job, location of equipment, cleaning products and their proper handling.
Knowledge and Experience
No experience is necessary but acceptable work results are expected.
Core Competencies
The ability to clean work areas with results that meet the expectations of the College, ● dependable and committed to the job, ● and be communicative to the supervisor as to work issues, absences or expected/unexpected tardiness.
Working Conditions
General physical labor both indoors and outdoors. May require lifting heavy objects. Student work hours to fit within school or extracurricular activities, and must be on the same days of each week. Student’s hours/days scheduled with the Facilities/Housekeeping supervisor.
