Work Schedule:

Must be able to work in the evenings during the week and attend regattas on designated weekends.

Basic Function:

Responsible for the leadership and instruction of the Denison University Crew Club.

Essential Job Functions:

Responsibilities will include in water and on land development.
Plan and execute practices 2 – 3 days per week at Buckeye Lake during the Fall and Spring.
Organize winter ERG training.
Recruit new student-athletes to the team.
Schedule and attend Fall and Spring regattas.

Ideal candidate will possess excellent problem solving, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience with crew is required.

Must be able to work late afternoon into evenings and weekends.

Must have a current, valid driver’s license and must be insurable under Denison’s liability insurance policy.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrable experience working with individuals of diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Ability to drive crew shells to Hoover and back to Denison in between Fall and Spring seasons as well as to regattas.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to demonstrate and teach proper technique. Ability to transport shells into and out of water.
