We are seeking to dramatically expand research to better harness the power of the immune system to prevent and treat diseases. These expanding efforts in immunology will enable Georgia's public medical school to better address big questions that affect everyone's health. Dr. Lynn Hedrick Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conditions of Employment All candidates are required to successfully pass a Background Check review. For specific positions, the final candidate may be subject to a (pre-employment) physical, drug screen, and/or credit check.
The final candidate will be required to provide proof of completed academic degree(s) as well as post-secondary coursework in the form of original transcript(s). - Perform laboratory experiments to cancer and cardiovascular disease.
- Maintain lab database of reagents and antibodies.
- Maintain current biosafety laboratory protocols in accordance with both university and national regulations.
- Assist with training and supervision of new students, postdocs, and technicians in the lab as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
