SALARY RANGE: $70,243 - $88,031 per year

*Salaries/Wages for all finalists (internal and external) will be based upon education, experiences, current wages, and internal equity.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

    Provide instruction and direction for the Electrical Engineering Technologies courses. Topics include but are not limited to: Digital Systems, Communications Modeling Systems, Microprocessor Based Systems, Electronics and Linear Electronic Circuits, AC/DC fundamentals, Advanced Circuits, Advanced Electronics, Electronic Design Integration and Automation devices. Will teach in an open lab environment for the Engineering Technologies programs. Instructor must be able answer learner questions and provide on the spot learning moments on all Electro-Mech, Automation and Electrical Engineering competencies taught in the Engineering Technology Center.Support Corporate Training and Economic Development for 25% to 50% of role. A set amount of hours each week will be dedicated to supporting CTED proposal development and supporting the account managers in developing opportunities for training. Another set amount of hours each week will be “banked” to execute CTED training as required the academic calendar (August -May). Work to provide clear Electronic-Electrical Engineering Technology pathways and subsequent partnerships with secondary education, including UW System Colleges, UWC, and private TAC of ABET institutions, as well as regional high schools. Provide educational leadership; work effectively with applicable advisory committees, four-year articulation partners, community groups, faculty, administration.May provide instruction to Youth Options students.One or two individuals on the team may be required to drive the lab truck in a safe and efficient manner.At least one evening per week will likely be required (5pm-8pm) during the fall and spring semesters. Instructor must be flexible to provide CTED training in evening and weekends as needed. Some travel may be required withing the NWTC region to provide CTED training.

Qualifications and Work Experience:

    Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology or associated Engineering field and five years of related work experience. A graduate degree in Engineering is preferred.At a minimum, occupational or educational experience must have occurred at least 1 year within the last 5 years.
    Experience in an appropriate combination of design and manufacturing electronic assemblies, communication signal transmission and reception, microprocessor and communication system coding and simulation, design, and programming/operation of automated systems in an industrial environment OR experience in design and startup of communications in an industrial/commercial environment. Project management experience in multiple disciplines, and at a minimum Lead Engineer experience.Occupational experience may include:
