Job Summary

The adjunct faculty member will teach courses in Enterprise Cloud Computing.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provides classroom instruction
  • Revisies and develops new curriculum
  • Develops and implements assessment activities to measure student learning outcomes
  • Develops and teaches online courses
  • Recruits, advises and evaluates students
  • Teaches Dual Enrollment classes
  • Prepares and writes grants for the Department of Engineering
  • Participates in departmental, campus and college committees
  • Teaches engineering and engineering technology courses college wide
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, (Information Technology, Networking, Telecommunications, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering and AWS (Amazon Web Services) Solutions Architect - Associate industry certification; or Master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Computer Science or related field, (Information Technology, Networking, Telecommunications, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering and AWS (Amazon Web Services) Solutions Architect - Associate industry certification
  • All educational degrees must be from a regional accredited institution
  • Must have passion for teaching in engineering
  • Posesses excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to use innovative teaching techniques
  • Familiarity with distance learning and willingness to use technology tools in instruction
  • Ability to use collaborative learning techniques and student centered methods of instruction
  • Ability to work well with students and collegues in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
