Job Description Summary:The research assistant, under general supervision of the principal investigator (PI), will support laboratory research for the asthma study at choc children’s. responsible for scheduling and recruiting subjects and executing research protocol. this position is a part-time, temp position, working up to 20 hours per week.

- Coordinate the scheduling of subjects

- Execute research protocol
- Communicate and work with researchers and participants p
- Perform others duties as assigned
- Ability to conduct research in a timely manner and document all data.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Strong oral, written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact with diverse individuals and groups at all organizational levels, both inside and outside of the university.
- Ability to work independently and/or with researchers and assistants.
- Computer skills to use word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database, internet and electronic mail applications, and basic computer networking.
- Proven skills to organize, coordinate and execute logistics for experiments.
- Strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
- Experience providing research support in a university setting.
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, coordinating and executing operations, including experience in planning, managing multiple experiments/projects, and completing them in a timely manner, under pressure and competing interest situations.
- Proven ability to understand and handle political and practical ramifications of confidential data and respond with tact and diplomacy.
- Proven skills to organize, coordinate and execute logistics for experiments.
- Strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
- Experience providing research support in a university setting.
