The College of Communication and Design at Lynn University is in search of adjunct faculty in the area of Film Production. Primary responsibilities include teaching introductory undergraduate courses. The college offers a variety of undergraduate majors and minors in the areas of communication and media arts including a new and a growing B.F.A. program in Film and Television Production. The college is also host to a variety of graduate programs leading to M.S. and M.F.A. degrees.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Serve as undergraduate adjunct faculty in the College of Communication and Design
• Provide academic and professional advice to students
• Depending on the successful candidate's area of expertise, courses may include: Film Production, Documentary Production, Advanced Film and Video Production, Film and Video Editing, Cinematography, Screenwriting, Film and Video Practicum and Digital Storytelling

REQUIREMENTS:

• M.F.A. in Film & Video Production or screenwriting in hand by start date
• Ability to teach introductory and intermediate screenwriting and film production courses
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level
• Ability to work successfully with students of diverse backgrounds
