Posting Summary:

Provide administrative coordination for the Division of Strategic Communications to ensure consistent and timely management of resources that support the division’s mission of Amplifying Our Impact. Duties include coordination of human resources (reclassifications, recruitment, appointments, evaluations, terminations, etc.); space and facilities management; computer and equipment purchasing, assignment, and tracking; software selection and purchasing; vendor/freelancers selection, contracting, and purchasing of services; planning and execution of recurring on-site events (includes site selection, budgeting, oversight of catering, technology, and other services); planning and execution of recurring online events ; support division leaders by gathering and compiling data for business decisions; recommend short-term and long-term solutions for business needs; establish and maintain processes and procedures related to business operations; monitor budgets; execute on-boarding and off-boarding of staff; serve as main point of contact for division for HR and financial matters. Conduct research from a variety of internal and external sources to assist in preparing reports and presentations. Interact regularly with senior administration, deans, other leaders, and Administrative Business Service Center (ABSC).

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience):

Associates degree in related field and five years related business/administrative experience. Working knowledge of business software used to support operations required. Familiarity with web and social media required. Effective verbal and written communication skills required, including presentation skills. Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously in a timely and professional manner.
