General SummaryThis is a part-time position for teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses focused in the area of information systems. Specific areas of focus include database management, digital enterprise systems, information security, data analysis, project and risk management, and artificial intelligence. Additional courses from other areas of computer science may also be available. This position is for online and face-to-face teaching at the Fort Wayne campus. Principal Duties & ResponsibilitiesCourse goals and objectives are set by the dean. Additionally- Engage with students in a manner that optimizes student success
- Deliver effective courses and laboratories to meet the program learning outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse student population
- Desire to increase access and success in higher education for underrepresented students
- Minimum of Master’s Degree in Information Systems or related field, Ph.D. preferred
- Experience in Networking, Challenges & Implication of Digitization, and/or similarly related fields preferred
- College-level teaching experience preferred
- Five + years relevant industry experience
- Certifications or experience with CompTIA, EC-Council, ISC2, GIAC or Microsoft preferred
