The Coordinator of Advancement Communications is responsible for creating high-quality communications including print, digital graphics, website design, and social media support for University Advancement. The Coordinator of Advancement Communications will create development-related support materials; event marketing support; outreach items; and project-specific communications. This person will also be responsible for graphic and design projects that directly support all University Advancement efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Include the following (Other duties may be assigned):1. Responsible for producing quality printed, electronic, and digital communications including, but not limited to annual advancement reports, tailored major gift proposals, power-point presentations, mass email communications, and donor stewardship reports.2. Responsible for maintaining the UA website design with visual imagery that supports the efforts of the UA team and represents CBU and UA in a positive manner.3. Provide graphic and logistical support for donor and alumni events throughout the year.4. Follow UA creative content from concept to pre-press and post-production while maintaining original design intent, messaging, and quality standards throughout the process.5. Support consistent application of CBU branding standards across all levels of the organization.6. Work with and manage print production including engaging with internal and external print shops.7. Scan and color correct artwork and photographs for all applicable UA material.8. Organize and maintain all electronic image and graphic files for ease of use, transmittal and production.9. Provide additional marketing related duties and event support, as required and assigned.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.• Skill in the use of Adobe software, Microsoft office products, and other graphic design software.• A thorough knowledge of Business English and arithmetic; general office methods, procedures and practices.• Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate to the duties of the position.• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff and student body.• Ability to supervise student employee(s), including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments as needed.
• Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented.• Excellent telephone courtesy knowledge and experience.• Knowledge of standard budgeting and expenditure control procedures and documentation preferred.• Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.• Ability to create, compose, and edit written and digital communication.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
