Masters Mentor Program Director

Objective:
Provide overall leadership and direction for the MBA/MM/MALI Mentor Program. Support the recruiting efforts for the Graduate Business Programs under the supervision of CSB’s Assistant Dean for Administration

Duties and Responsibilities: 
MBA/MM/MALI MentorProgram
- Direct the MBA/MM/MALI Mentor Program, including recruiting new mentors, interviewing students for mentor matches, matching mentors and students, and monitoring progress of mentor-student relationships.
- Maintain a roster of active mentors that meets the needs of CSB and Biola business students.
- Responsible for all phases of the relationship between MBA/MM/MALI Mentors and Biola University.
- Lead the planning and staffing of MBA/MM/MALI Mentor Program events.
- Maintain the relationship with MBA/MM/MALI Mentors through regular communication and interaction.
- Manage other activities of the MBA/MM/MALI Mentors, such as serving as judges for undergraduate Strategic Management class presentations, participating as guest speakers in classes, and supporting the Startup competition as judges, coaches and speakers for seminar events.
- Support CSB and faculty efforts to increase the professional development of all graduate and undergraduate students.
- Encourage mentors to provide internships and jobs for Biola business students and alum.
- Engage mentors to participate as interviewers for mock interview assignments.
- Manage access to mentors to support Biola students through information interviews for increased industry awareness and knowledge.
- Manage the availability of mentors to support activities where student access to the mentor’s skills and experience can add value to Biola students.

MBA Recruiting
- Support events and meetings with prospective and admitted students.
- Support recruiting events on campus and off-campus.
- Work with MBA Coordinator to plan logistics for events as necessary.
- Assist with promotional copy and mailing efforts to maximize exposure to targeted audiences.
- Perform special projects and act as liaison to speak at and recruit at seminars.
- Lead monthly CSB graduate Information Sessions.

Qualifications: 
Bachelor degree andcorporate experience required. Graduate degree preferred. Self-motivated,resourceful, customer service oriented, professional attitude and appearance,excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Skills:
- Proficiency with PC and/or Macintosh platforms
- Proficiency with computer applications including MS Office
- Internet research experience
- Able to deliver informative and motivational presentations
- Knowledge of graduate academic admissions and graduation standards and requirements
