Oversees a complex grant portfolio, including non- federal and federally sponsored domestic and international sponsored projects. Manages budgets and expenses for grants, accounting on issues related to the administration of grants. Provides considerable support to Principal Investigators to ensure grants are administered in accordance with established guidelines and are within budget. Participates in funding identification and proposal development activity as necessary. May provide administrative or research support. Provides direct research support for multiple Principal Investigators in the areas of Finance, Procurement, Human Resources and general administration. Maintains a computerized financial record management system to monitor the financial integrity of the sections grants, ensuring that all contractual agreements and budget commitments are met. Monitors all grant expenditures and disbursements for adherence to budget guidelines and award notices. Provide ad hoc administrative and research support. Interpretation of complex award regulations and guidelines from multiple sponsors providing clear communication to the Principal Investigator about cost allow ability based on internal and external policies. Advises faculty on long-term financial viability of department/center given multiple grants and contracts from various sources with differing project end dates. Acts as liaison with internal BU parties as well as appropriate agencies who provide funding for grants to ensure proper compliance of grant administration.

Required Skills

Education: Bachelor's Degree Required, Master's Degree Preferred with 5-8 years of experience
