The Spira-Lenburg-Billatos labs within the Section of Computational Biomedicine in the Department of Medicine at Boston University Medical Campus focus on translational research to better understand lung biology and develop new ways to treat lung disease. The Scientific Program Manager will oversee projects related to lung cancer diagnostics involving clinical samples, genomic approaches and bioinformatics.

The program manager will:

1) develop, implement and manage project work plans to increase research efficiency and effectiveness and ensure that milestones are met

2) serve as a central liaison between project personnel, industry partners, external collaborators and the principal investigators

3) assist in the preparation of progress reports and grant proposals

4) help prepare collaborative research agreements

5) assist with the planning and coordination of future plans in accordance with the labs goals.

Required Skills

Master’s degree and 1-3 years of experience required. Doctoral degree preferred.
