The Adjunct Instructor supports the delivery of the PharmD Curriculum; working directly with students, faculty, staff, and administrators as required. Work may be conducted in the classroom, online, during office hours, or in workshops.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Expertise in the area of Pharmacy Practice or the area of instruction.
2. Ability to communicate effectively both with groups and individuals.
3. Ability to interact effectively with people of all backgrounds, including students, administration, faculty, and staff.
4. Ability to handle detail-oriented assignments and maintain confidentiality.
5. Ability to handle a wide range of responsibilities in the college environment.
1. Education: PharmD, or JD, or PhD in an appropriate field. Preferred Qualifications:
2. Experience: Teaching, precepting, and mentoring PharmD students.
3. Licensure: Pharmacists must hold a clear license to practice pharmacy.

Hourly position working as needed to support the teaching mission of the COP. The schedule will be set by the Associate Dean for Curricular Affairs.Posting Date:
-Maintaining intellectual integrity and striving for academic excellence in his/her teaching. Percentage Of Time:
-Promoting adequate standards of linguistic expression in writing and in speech.
-Maintaining up-to-date records of the grades of each student in his/her blocks.
Collaborating with the block facilitator in planning the block, facilitating, and conducting student evaluation and evaluation. Percentage Of Time:
Providing lectures/instruction to Pharm.D. students.
-Contributing to the curricular content in collaboration with other faculty members.
Support the Course Facilitator with projects to enhance the course or student learning.Percentage Of Time:
-Evaluating student performance using both traditional methods (e.g., written tests) and non-traditional methods (e.g., student portfolios). Percentage Of Time:
-Documenting outcomes and appropriateness of all teaching/research activities on an ongoing basis.
