Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management

Founded in 1850, Illinois Wesleyan University (IWU) is an independent, residential, liberal arts university with approximately 1,600 students. Under leadership of the Vice President, the AVP for Enrollment Management/Dean of Admissions provides dynamic, innovative, and collaborative leadership to the Office of Admissions in directing and strengthening undergraduate enrollment processes and in building new enrollment pipelines and territories. The position collaborates with the VP for Enrollment Management to develop and implement the IWU comprehensive enrollment plan. This is a full time, on-campus position. Responsibilities:

Develop systemic best practices for enrolling and retaining undergraduate, transfer, and international populations; chair and manage the IWU Admissions committeeImplement full-cycle admissions and financial aid leveraging programsTrain, mentor, and manage Admissions staff; manage recruitment territories, search processes, and operations within Admissions. Manage Admissions operations, including ensuring timely and accurate data in Slate CMS; supports accurate and timely reporting; complete and evaluate recruitment funnel numbers, projections, conversions, travel and special programsPerform final review of admissions applications and credential evaluation to ensure academic quality and AACRO standardsApply merit based aid to admitted student packages

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required, with master’s degree preferred. 5-7 years of experience higher education enrollment management roles, with increasing responsibility. Demonstrated ability to successfully partner broadly with multiple constituents both on-campus and off; knowledge of enrollment management best practices, NACAC and AACRO guidelines, higher education administration, and understanding of databases; exceptionally strong communication skills (oral and written), strong organizational and collaboration skills.Valid Driver's LicenseApplication Information:

The final candidate will pass a pre-employment background investigation.
