The Industrial Technology Area in the Orfalea College of Business at Cal Poly is creating a pool of eligible part-time lecturers and lab instructors for possible teaching assignments during the Summer, Fall, Winter, and/or Spring Quarters of the 2022-23 academic year. Teaching areas: Industrial automation and manufacturing technologies (e.g., CAD/CAM, basic PLC and robot programming, setup/operation of CNC mills and lathes), Industrial power systems, Industrial safety and quality program leadership, Product Design and Development (e.g., SolidWorks, KeyShot, Rhinoceros, prototyping, sketching, rendering), Supply Chain Management and Logistics, Operations Planning and Control, Lean Six Sigma, Commercialization of New Technologies, and Professional Technical Selling. Assignments will be contingent upon budget and enrollments.
