Instructor, Social Work - Social Welfare Policy & Community & Organization Practice

Position Description

The Social Work Dept at Seattle University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track Instructor position for AY 2022-2023 starting September 2022. This is a 1-year, non-renewable position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in social welfare policy and community and organizational practice. The candidate will provide limited service, such as attending departmental meetings/events, admission reviews, and advising students.

Qualifications

Candidates with a doctorate or an ABD in Social Work / Social Welfare are preferred. Candidates with an MSW will be considered. Evidence of successful teaching is required; evidence of excellence in teaching is strongly preferred.
