POSITION SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reconciles payroll registers to department ledgers, monitors pay distribution and salaries as they relate to the budget. Runs payroll projection ledgers and reconciles to actual payroll registers. Runs GEMs RSA checks, monitoring for accurate posting of payroll, makes corrections when needed
Performs reconciliation of auxiliary, E&G, grants, concession, agency, convenience, and USF Foundation funds for Muma College of Business. The reconciliations are performed by comparing official University reports against source documents in accordance with University and departmental procedures. Prepare any necessary correcting entries. Reviews and makes adjustments to initial reconciliations done by fiscal support positions
Runs routine financial reports, statements, spreadsheets, adhoc reports and consolidated financials, which are used by management and accountable officers to make financial decisions. Monitors and tracks departmental financial statements, including review of budget to actuals.
Prepares and processes check requests for USF Foundation funds. Knows and understands Foundation expenditure policies
Serves as a liaison between Muma College of Business Dean's Office and other College departments by providing customer service support and problem solving for Office Managers, Chairs, Directors and Faculty. Serves as a liaison between Muma College of Business and other USF departments, such as Innovative Education and central operations. Provides assistance for adhoc and specials events. Special projects as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:
This position requires a High School diploma or equivalent with three years of work experience in positions with fiscal support duties. College or other relevant post-secondary coursework may substitute for the experience requirement on a year for year basis.
PREFERRED:
Prefer Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Prefer University experience. Knowledge of Excel, Access, Peoplesoft, Adobe.
