Embry-Riddle Athletics is seeking applicants for the 2022-23 Tickets & Sponsorship Sales Internship. Embry Riddle Eagles is an NCAA Division ll institution and competes in the Sunshine State Conference.

Job Description

  • Assist with the development and implementation of a comprehensive plan for single, group, and season ticket sales.
  • Manage the hiring, training, managing, and supervision of student employees for ticket operation.
  • Support ticket sales’ game day responsibilities, including sales kiosk setup, game day sales, and/or group fan experiences.
  • Responsible for processing ticket sales reconciliation reports after events and reconciling sales with reports.
  • Support the department in corporate sponsorship initiatives by assisting with prospecting and soliciting new sponsors, developing strong professional relationships with sponsors, and activating contracted assets throughout the season.
  • Assist in the creation of outbound partner proposals & renewals with creative ideas for game day, event, social, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Facilitate and assist in managing contractual obligations.
  • Track partner deliverable assets, including signage tracking, capturing proof of performance, coordinating on-site activations, and executing in-game sponsored elements.
  • Maintain a strong and continuous relationship with each account, as this will assist in the renewal process.
  • Work with the marketing department to develop and implement a marketing plan for the season.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Must possess a competitive nature and a positive attitude.
  • Strong willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the functions of a collegiate athletics department.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior sales, cold calling, telemarketing, and/or corporate sponsorship experience.
  • Previous intercollegiate athletics or professional sports experience, with an interest in sports marketing and/or collegiate athletic administration as a career path.
  • Knowledge and experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).


Interns receive a total compensation of $16,000 for the duration of the internship. In addition, this internship offers an optional university meal plan (taxable).


10 months, July to May.
