CSUSM Athletics is a member of NCAA Division II and competes in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) conference. The CCAA is a highly competitive conference made up of twelve California State Universities.
The coaching assistant, who will have the working title of Cheer Coach, will lead the day-to-day operations of our successful NCAA Division II cheer program. This includes, but is not limited to, recruiting, budgeting, performances and competition, coordinate any team travel, organizing camps and clinics, coordinate requests for public appearances, maintain compliance with all NCAA rules, and prioritize academics and student welfare. The cheer coach will also oversee the mascot program.

SALARYAnticipated salary based on $5,017 per full-time month. This is a part-time, 0.25 FTE, 12-month exempt position and not benefits eligible.
