The University of North Alabama’s division of University Advancement is accepting applications for the position of Associate Director/Director of Development Services.  This position serves as the principal manager and supervisor responsible for database administration and management in the Advancement division. Other responsibilities include planning, organizing, leading, and coordinating database administrative activities in furtherance and support of the UNA Foundation's service mission to the University community. This position will be titled per the qualifications of the selected candidate and salary will be commensurate with education and experience, relevant to the title offered.

Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree is required; Minimum of five full-time years of work experience in Advancement is required; Experience in supervision of employees is required; Experience in higher education and foundation development is preferred; Raiser's Edge and Financial Edge experience is required.

Organization

Established in 1830 as LaGrange College, the University of North Alabama has a rich history including the distinction of being the first state-supported teachers college in the South. The school's 130-acre campus is located in the historic district of Florence, Alabama, on the Tennessee River. Students come from around the country and world, but UNA is largely a regional university with about 70% of students coming from Alabama.
