Technically supports the Cardiac & Vascular Institute- Arcadia in providing noninvasive echo and vascular studies in coordination with the department’s medical and technical team and in compliance with established department standards.

Minimum Education:•Certification of completion of a sonography program with emphasis in echo and vascular technology.Minimum Experience/Knowledge:•At least 2 years of experience performing noninvasive echo and vascular studies.•Demonstrates professional behavior/conduct in all interactions•Fosters teamwork, efficient use of resources and quality patient outcomes.•Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills.•Demonstrated ability to analyze data and solve problems. Required License/Certification:•Must be dual certified with at least 1 Echo plus 1 Vascular certification from the list below. (Need total of 2)•Vascular•Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) •Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)•Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography [RT(VS)]•Cardiac/Echo•Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)•Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)•Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS)•Valid BLS certification for the healthcare provider.•Fire and Safety Certification. If employee does not have card upon hire one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)
