Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- Assistant Professor of Clinical TeachingMasters in Nursing from an accredited institution of higher education.A Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or an earned doctorate in an appropriate field of science, nursing, social science, education, or related field.Minimum of four years’ experience working as a Family Nurse PractitionerHold current certification for Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).Eligible for licensure as a nurse in the State of Colorado.Eligible to obtain an unencumbered nursing license in ColoradoA record of demonstrated effectiveness in teaching, collegial collaboration, and commitment to a program of scholarship to qualify for the rank of Assistant Professor in the Clinical Teaching faculty track
- Professor of Clinical TeachingMasters in Nursing from an accredited institution of higher education.
- Demonstration of academic leadership such as curricular/program development.Demonstrated success in teaching across nursing programs from undergraduate to DNP.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion.Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
