Job Responsibilities


To build an active pool of qualified applicants, Trident Technical College accepts applications for adjunct faculty. The English, Speech, and Journalism Department invites applications for English Adjunct Instructor positions starting Fall 2022 for the 2022-2023 academic year.


Instructors will teach Freshman Composition and Introduction to Literature classes in a traditional face-to-face classroom setting. Classes are conducted on all TTC campuses and at local high schools.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

To qualify for these positions, applicants require an earned master's degree in English OR a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in English. Adjunct faculty positions require the submission of unofficial transcripts with the application.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior teaching experience is desirable. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
