The Marketing Area in the Orfalea College of Business at Cal Poly is creating a pool of eligible part-time lecturers to teach introductory principles of marketing, international marketing, market research, new product development and launch, product management, sales, sales technology, or other more advanced courses during the Summer, Fall, Winter, and/or Spring Quarters of the 2022-2023 academic year. Assignments will be contingent upon budget and enrollments.

Masters degree in business or related discipline and professional marketing experience required. Must demonstrate a strong teaching record and currency in professional field.
Demonstrated experience and commitment to student-centered learning and teaching, as well as the ability to collaboratively work in multidisciplinary settings is required. Demonstrated proficiency in written and oral use of the English language is required.
The person holding this position is considered a 'mandated reporter' under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The faculty in the Marketing Area offer coursework in the fields of marketing. The courses offered in this area prepare students for careers in corporate environments.
