This person will also serve as a Clinician Educator and provide care for a panel of private patients as well as provide academic support in all years of MCG's curriculum. Faculty course involvement includes preclinical electives and interdisciplinary required courses and a six-week Family Medicine distributed clerkship. The department also sponsors hospital and ambulatory, research, public and population health, and vulnerable population electives.Minimum Requirements Educational Requirements
MD or DO. Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.

Other Required Qualifications
Board certified (or board-eligible) by the American Board of Family Medicine, eligible for licensure in Georgia and credentialing at Augusta University Health System.

Required Experience
At least 2 years teaching as a family medicine faculty.
