Position Summary::

The Communication & Foreign Languages Department at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking part-time Communication instructors for the adjunct pool to teach day and night classes on campus. Campus assignments may include any RCCC campus (South, North, College Station, NCRC, and CBTC.) This position will not teach online courses.

Faculty Required Education/Experience Skills::

  • Master’s degree in Communication or Communication Studies.
  • Basic computer skills required (email, ability to learn and be comfortable with Blackboard)
  • Flexibility in schedule (days/times) as well as ability to drive to multiple campuses (our campuses range from Concord to Salisbury, NC).

1. Successfully prepare, manage, and deliver course content in order to achieve course objectives, accommodate diverse learning styles, and meet student learning outcomes.

The college's New and Expanding Industry Training office has earned national recognition for cooperative training efforts with area industries. Focused Industrial Training designs innovative educational programs for the service region's manufacturing sector.

An important function of the college is to provide educational programs on the pre-college level. Literacy Services offer adults the opportunity for meaningful social and occupational growth through Adult Basic Education (ABE), Human Resources Development (HRD), and the High School Equivalency Program (GED).
