Position Summary:

The College of Business at Florida Atlantic University seeks to fill a non-tenure track faculty line as an Instructor of Management in the College of Business for employment as soon as possible.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will direct the daily operations of the newly established Madden Center for Value Creation and teach courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs of the College of Business, as well as participate in empirical research projects. The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate will also include service related activities. In his or her role as Director for Operations of the Madden Center for Value Creation, the candidate will assist in developing and maintaining key relationships with external stakeholders (e.g., universities, think tanks, community and business leaders, and government agencies), participate in the development of grant solicitations and strategic action plans, monitor performance indicators and milestones, and oversee all financial operations of the Madden Center, thus ensuring consistency with strategic goals, budget development and operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualified candidates are required to have earned a doctorate in Management, or an appropriate similar business academic discipline, from an AACSB-accredited university by the effective date of employment.

Candidates must be strongly committed to quality scholarly research.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to develop, organize and deliver programs.
Applicants must have a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching at an AACSB accredited university.

Demonstrate and support a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic

Demonstrates skill in understanding of cultural differences.

Preferred Qualification: The ideal candidate also will have:

A demonstrated record of acceptances or publications in peer-reviewed academic journals.

Experience and interest in research and/or teaching in corporate governance, entrepreneurship,
international business, strategy, and/or value creation. However, all areas of teaching and research focus in the College of Business will be considered.

Certification or experience teaching in fully online or hybrid delivery platforms.
