The Department of Patient Access has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Work Force Analyst to work on the UHealth Campus. The Work Force Analyst acts as the depository for information used by the management and leadership team when making decisions. This individual is responsible for understanding, utilizing and maintaining all onsite patient access KPI dashboards; analyzing and reviewing routine and ad-hoc reports as well as project level data analysis.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses and recommendations
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Examines and evaluates purpose and content of business reports to develop new, or improve existing format, use, and control: Reviews reports to determine basic characteristics, such as origin and report flow, format, frequency, distribution and purpose or function of report.
Recommends establishment of new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information.
May prepare and issue instructions concerning generation, completion, and distribution of reports according to new or revised practices, procedures, or policies of reports management.
Use computer databases, electronic spreadsheets, desktop publishing, word processing applications to manipulate, analyze, and present data.
Maintains all data system integrity and security according to department policies.
Responds to ad hoc requests from the Senior Executive Director and others for meetings and briefings and helps with communication needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
Minimum 2- 5 years of related work experience required (i.e. data analysis, reporting, patient access, or revenue cycle experience)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of Patient Access business operations, performance analysis, and development of business performance dashboards, scorecards and KPI's
Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports.
Ability to create and edit charts and graphs.
Ability to create and edit presentations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate well with others
Ability to implement quality management concepts into practice.
Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
