Job Details
Job Summary
This position will be responsible for clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of training and management development programs at BYU–Hawaii. Schedules training sessions, coordinates with instructors, obtains and distributes required instructional materials, and communicates schedules and details.
Primary Responsibilities
Schedule and organize training sessions, which includes scheduling the room, room setup and breakdown, and food arrangements
Assist with in-person Management Development Trainings each month by acting as a scribe and compiling participant responses
Prepare participant material, which includes name cards, handouts, binders, etc.
Assign Vector Solutions training to employees and students per department requests
Monitor employees’ progress on assigned training and provide departments with monthly reports as needed
Promote the Leadership Pattern trainings to campus community
Serve as a backup for front desk coverage in the HR office; answer the phone, help customers with inquiries, create ID cards, etc.
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
This is a post-graduate internship so applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or will be graduating in Winter or Spring 2022. Applicants must also be a graduate of BYU–Hawaii.
Office experience is required and applicants should be familiar with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
English proficiency and excellent writing skills.
