SummaryThe Administrative Program Coordinator provides a professional and welcoming atmosphere for the band program with a high volume of interaction with other Tulane departments, outside contractors and vendors, and students and students families while also providing administrative support to the Tulane Band Program staff, independent contractors, and student clubs and organizations to ensure that band operations run smoothly and effectively. Duties include administrative, budget and clerical tasks, social media and other public outreach, alumni relations, event management, and fundraising/donor cultivation and stewardship.
Required Qualifications- High School degree or equivalent
- Two years of professional office, administrative, financial and event management experience
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience working in a university, performing arts, or community-based organization
- Facility with standard business Oracle systems or equivalent enterprise production systems
- Facility with Cognos Reporting or equivalent business intelligence systems
- Facility with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Familiarity with Advance and SLATE or equivalent student and alumni database systems
