(Contingent upon available funding): 0.00 - 0.00, Commensurate with education and experience Work Schedule: Typically 8 hours/day, 5 days/week Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Job Summary:The Psychologist atthe National Center for Wellness and Recovery is primarily responsible for providingcounseling services to patients and families struggling with addictive orcompulsive behaviors in our OSU Medicine system. Working closely with an interdisciplinaryteam, the lead counselor will help develop and implement evidence-basedinterventions including individual and group therapy as well as in-person andvirtual services.
Environmental Hazards:Typical office environment.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds, stoop, reach, stand,walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see and perform repetitive motions withor without reasonable accommodations. -Be innovative Education & Experience Position Qualifications: Required:-Ph.D./Psy.D. inClinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited graduate program andcompletion of a post-doctoral year. -Active or eligible license in the State of Oklahomaas a health services psychologist.

Skills, Proficiencies, and Knowledge:
Requiresa devoted interest in direct patient care. Requiresstrong analytical skills, advanced multi-tasking skills, advanced problem-solvingskills, and the ability to effectively plan. Computer skills are needed tooperate electronic medical records and virtual visits. Good communication andleadership skills are a positive. Interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with faculty,students, patients, and providers.Preferred:-Addiction treatment experience

Oklahoma State University-Center for Health Sciences was founded in 1972 and is home to the College of Osteopathic Medicine, as well as graduate programs in forensics, biomedicine, healthcare and athletic training. Our core business is education; and it takes more than 500 faculty and staff members to run our institution.
