Job Description Summary

The Department of Sociology at Wake Forest University seeks applicants for two full-time, Visiting Assistant Professors to start July 2022. The term of employment is one year. This appointment carries a 3/3 teaching load and all areas in Sociology will be considered. A PhD in Sociology and experience teaching at the college-level are required.

Job Description:

The Sociology Department offers major concentrations in Business and Society; Crime and Criminal Justice; Inequality and Social Justice; and Health and Well-being. Applicants who can contribute to teaching in these areas, or to our core courses in Statistics, Methods or Theory, are particularly welcome.
