Associate Director of Marketing
Under the direction of the Vice President of University Relations, the Associate Director of Marketing (Associate Director 2) supervises and manages marketing and advertising to support enrollment objectives and increase brand awareness of Kean University. The Associate Director manages Kean’s advertising strategy consistent with the strategic goals, plans and objectives of the University and creates and manages an annual advertising plan to successfully promote the institution through various channels, including billboards, print, broadcast, radio, transit and other mediums. The individual works closely with units across Kean, including Enrollment Services, in support of digital, print, broadcast and other marketing initiatives. This position requires travel and a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s degree and three years of professional experience in higher education or another related field that includes knowledge of all aspects of communications planning, marketing and advertising is required. A Master’s degree in a field related to the position is preferred. Candidate must have exceptional skills in communications, marketing and interpersonal relations.
