Psychology (Forensic) – The Clinical Assistant Professor will teach courses in support of undergraduate and graduate programs in Psychology. Ability to teach courses in support of the undergraduate and graduate level Forensic Psychology programs is required. Non-teaching hours will be devoted to student advising, research, and departmental and university service.

Qualifications: Doctorate in Psychology with completion by September 1, 2022 is required. A minimum of two years of teaching experience in a college environment is preferred.

This is a ten-month, full-time, tenure-track assignment at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective for the Fall 2022 semester. Teaching assignments and related responsibilities may include day, evening, weekend and online courses. Courses may be taught at the Union campus, Kean Ocean, Kean Skylands or other locations.

All tenure-track faculty are expected to demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and an on-going program of research and publication or creative and performance activity. Participation in curriculum development, student advisement and service at the departmental/school, college, university and community level is also required. Interest or experience in using advanced instructional technologies to improve the teaching/learning process is highly desirable. Proficiency in the Learning Management System, Blackboard and Online Learning Pedagogy is required, consistent with University guidelines. Kean may offer free voluntary Blackboard workshops to otherwise qualified applicants.
